Default Review of PR – “he is a great man, a great warrior and we honour him.”…….

Renew of PR – “he is a great man, a great warrior and we honour him.”…….

STAR CINEMA – MUSCAT
17/12/09 AT 2PM
Status – 30% - it’s a working day here
Saw most awaited biggest blockbuster PR with good crowd in the biggest theatre in Muscat.
In short the real story of a legend, who lived and died for his country. He executed the plan and war against Big British East India Company by gathering his people without any big weapons. For the meantime I salute that real legend Pazhassiraja for leading the war for the country.
Then coming to cinema, I expected a lot from the movie as it’s a blockbuster. About movie I can say only one word “The best Malayalam film of a life time”.
Scenes I like most –
Before seeing the film itself I know the introduction scene of PR so its not a big thing.
1)The first scene which I felt the best is hanging scene of Devan……oh really fantastic, first time I saw a hanging by standing in front of wooden stand.
2)Next – though overrated the fight scene of Ekka & Sarath
3)Hanging scene of Manoj – he is acted brilliantly
4)Sarathkumar death – is it really happened???
5)PR attack after manoj’s death…..as cinema I liked this scene too much….kure kayyadi kiti.

Acting wise
Mammuty – he is not acted lived as PR throughout the film….amazing performance…not so lauded as in OVVG…But in some scene silence make it all..
Sarathkumar – career best. His body language is amazing.
Manoj – The best after Kuttanthampuran
Sureshkrishna – Careerbest
Padmapriya – sheis amazing especially in fight scenes.
Kaniha – silence and the beauty.

Then two big persons
Hariharan – thanks for giving us a great film like this which we can give in front of other language people and say .. .. We can also make this type of film and get success.
Gopalan – Kodigal vari erinjadinu valare thanks….. but sarikum 25 cr undo????

Positive –
Direction – No words to say, he got the reward.
Cinematography – excellent locations and picturisation.
Sound – kidilan…, mazha …oooo…koritharichu…… – hats off Rasul – but I don’t know weather its fault from theatre staff….in some scenes sounds are horrible and lauded…..
And all except the negative I wrote down.
Negative –
Jagadish
Last fight scene of PR… I think this is generated for movie. Because in front of British guy who has gun, nobody can kill so many company persons.

Last but not least – I liked the last dialogue in the move – “PR is our enemy but he is a great man,a great warrior and we salute him.”…….
