The super hit pair in making murder mysteries, director K.Madhu and writer S.N Swamy are together again with Jayaram in Rahasiya Police. They have made the best franchisee movie of all times CBI Officer Sethurama Iyer and his investigations told through four CBI films. Once again Swamy and Madhu are making a murder mystery with Jayaram playing a dual role as a sub inspector in the local police station . The second character is that of a local goonda called Chalai Mani who is there on a secret mission. The buzz is that the film is based on Peter Sellers ‘The Pink Panther’ series and is a comedy investigation film. The film has five heroines, Samvrutha Sunil, Sindhu Menon, Mangala Ayilya and Shivani.

Baiju NT [July 20, 2009, 2:47:35 PM] Director K. Madhu and writer S.N. Swamy, who have made some of the best investigative thrillers, are back. The team's upcoming murder investigation thriller Rahasya Police, starring Jayaram and three heroines (Samvrutha Sunil, Sindhu Menon and Naadodigal fame Ananya), has been censored and is ready for release on July 24.
Jayaram dons a double role as an honest, funny cop and a goonda called Chalai Mani in the film. Veteran Siyad Kokker is producing Rahasya Police. However, the buzz is that Jayaram’s role is not a double role, but a triple role! His third role is said to be that of an investigating officer from the CBI.
Rahasya Police is also rumoured to be based on Peter Sellers' 'The Pink Panther' series. After Randam Varavu (1990), this is the second time that Jayaram teams up with veteran K. Madhu.
