Jayaram & Kamal are back after 12 years!
In 1990's one of the hottest star-director team was Jayaram and Kamal. They have done a lot of memorable hits like Peruvannapurathe Visheshangal, Thooval Sparsam, Paavam Paavam Rajakumaran etc. But after Kaikudanna Nilavu (1998), they split as Kamal started promoting his assistant Dileep as hero who later went on to become a big star. Now after 12 years Kamal and Jayaram are going to do a film for producer Emmanuel Thankachan under Trueline Cinema who last year made Sathyan Anthikad directed Katha Thudarunu with Jayaram. The shoot of the film is starting in Thodupuzha from August 1. Jayaram will play a gulf returned Malayalee Ajaychandran Nair in this untitled film. He is always unhappy with his situation in life. He always dreams big but is not able to deliver. Samvrutha Sunil will play the heroine and the others in the cast are Innocent, Jagathy, Salim Kumar and others. The script of the film is written by Girish Kumar who wrote the super hit Jayaram starrer Veruthe Oru Bhariya, and music is by M Jayachandran. Jayaram & Kamal are back after 12 years! |
