Recently watched THUSHARAM...

Frankly speaking it was a pretty well made movie considering that it was released in the early 80s... The highlights are the snow capped mountains of Kashmir... It was surely picturized with lots of risk...

Story is about an army Major (Ratheesh) who returns from an official trip to find that his newly wed wife has suicided... but fact is that she had been raped and killed by his big boss Brigadier (Balan K Nair)... He plots to kill the Brigadier... He goes to the Brigadiers home and shoots him ... He thinks the man is dead and he surrenders to the Military police... but he gets to know that his boss has survived... he then escapes and runs into the remote ice capped mountains... where he meets his old friend Jaffer Khan whom he helped during a pakistani insurgence... now Jaffer gives him help and together they plot and kidnap the Brigadiers daughter and keep her in their custody... rest is how the army tracks them down and what happens to all of them...

Personally, I would rate this movie ahead of Nairsaab... it came some 8-9 years before Nairsaab and had lot more daring sequences... and didnt have any crass comedy...

Worth a watch
