about the movie
the movie is a revenge saga and the back drop is mandwa village in maharashtra.. kancha (sanjay) the son of village headman is a tough guy and he kills dinnath chauhan - a village school master for standing against some of his personal intrests. vijay (hrithik) is the son of dinnath chauhan .after the brutal murder of his dad, he and his mom left mandwa and went to mumbai. there he killed a police man under certain circumstances and this incident split vijay and his mom. at this stage,vijay found shelter under rauf lala (rishi kapoor) - a mafia leader, . he knows that rauf lala is the best way to reach kancha. the rest of the story deals with how vijay avenge the savage killing of his dad.

positives

1. hrithik- out standing performance. did it in style
2. sanjay datt- excelled as kancha in the diabolic looks & mannerisms
3. kat's chikini chameli
4. fight scenes
5. songs- colorful pictuarisation
6. rishi kapoor- he too did a great job

negatives

1. priyanka chopra- she has nothing to do. i'm surprised why she accepted this role.
2. dragging in some parts of first half

3. some larger than life images in the climax scene. vijay stabbed 2 times by kancha,still he managed to hang the big man. as a viewr we also want him to do the same and that is coz of the excellent perfo by sanjay. hats off..

i have not seen the orginal agneepath. so i'm not into a comparison.

my rating- 6.5/10
verdict- super hit
