      Default █ ►AVENGERS : ENDGAME◄ █ - My IMAX 3D Review

      Date : 26.04.2019
      Theatre : NOVO Cinemas IMAX
Place : IMG World Of Adventures, Dubai
      Time : 1.30pm
      Status : HF

What a journey....11 years...!!! From a carefree very much newly wed person watching Iron Man in 2008 to a much older version of me cheering for the heroes with my 9 year old daughter and my wife in 2019...incredible! I started pushing my wife to come with me for the Marvel movies from Captain America :Winter Soldier as she wasn't much into watching English movies in theater apart from the Disney movies we used to go for our daughter. Fast forward to 2018 and after watching Infinity war her comment was...'Damn, we need to wait one year to see how they will defeat Thanos...?' ....That, my friends is classic Marvel...they know how to make their movies lovable even to neutrals who hasn't even touched a Marvel comic book in their entire life.

I am not going to divulge much into the storyline here...most of you might have already seen it. As mentioned in some of the previous posts in the Endgame reviews here, Marvel has crafted this one exclusively for their loyal fan base. The wide range of emotions, a throwback here and there from the previous films and a towering climax that felt as both satisfying and devastating with tears rolling down uncontrollably....this was a fitting finale for a journey of 11 years comprising of 22 films....Thank you Marvel and Thank you Stan Lee. Special thanks also to the Russo brothers.

The star performers of Endgame...? Undoubtedly Robert Downey Jr and Chris Evans...these are 2 heroes who formed the epitome of the MCU...they always had their differences between them with Tony being Tony and Steve being Steve...but Endgame shows how much they did care and respect for each other when they stood shoulder to shoulder to tackle the biggest ever threat they faced...Thanos. Understandably, the original Avengers from 2012 had the major share of the screen and it was a treat to see them back together fighting against their most powerful enemy yet. The disintegrated heroes from Infinity war makes a comeback at the tail end of the movies which elevates the final action sequence to another level.

Technical aspects are top notch as you would expect from a Marvel movie of this stature.

Iron Man kick started the MCU in 2008 and his final act in the movie Iron Man was revealing to the press these words...."I AM...IRON MAN" and those are the exact words he tells in the Endgame climax as well...same words but with different set of emotions and consequences. The final 10-15 minutes of the movie makes the viewer emotionally drained. And loved how they did the closing credits, acknowledging each an every character that was part of the MCU be it small or big....and the original Avengers right at the end with their signatures...and that man right at the end...Robert Downey Jr who has immortalized Tony Sark and Iron Man...RDJ...we owe you a big one dude!

Its always IMAX....I won't recco normal 3D show for MCU movies...Its not a great experience for me...I stopped watching in normal screens for MCU with rare cases of Thor 3 & Ant Man (since there was no IMAX around) becoz of the exeprience IMAX provides.

BTW...I am looking forward to Godzilla: The King of Monsters in IMAX...What about you Mr @Tony Stark???...I am sure you won't miss this one

@Tony Stark; what about the screen size when comparing with Vox MOE and Novo Ibn batuta?

Unfortunately I am not yet been to VOX MOE and Novo Ibn Batuta... Went last year to Novo festival city IMAX for Infinity war. However this one is big.. And they advertise it as the biggest IMAX screen in UAE
