Aamir Khan was last seen in the 2018 film Thugs of Hindustan. The film bombed at the box office and was brutally slammed by critics. After the Thugs of Hindustan debacle, Aamir Khan seems to have become more conscious in choosing his films.
The actor will now step into the shoes of Tom Hanks for the Hindi remake of the 1994 Hollywood film Forrest Gump. Aamir's Hindi remake is called Lal Singh Chaddha, and the actor announced this project on his birthday this year, March 14. Now, according to a report in Hindustan Times, Aamir will lose 20 kgs to get into shape to play the younger phase of his character.
"The actor follows a special diet consisting of sabzi-roti and some protein intake. He will also undergo the training for his look after September. As of now, Aamir is involving himself in the overall creative aspects for the project," a source informed the daily.
Forrest Gump is one of the most loved films of Tom Hanks. The film shows the journey of Forrest Gump (Tom Hanks), who witnesses several defining historical events of USA in the 20th century. The film won six Oscars, including the Best Actor award for Tom Hanks.
