Shah Rukh, Aamir Khan, Salman & Now Simbhu

Reliance Entertainment is peaking over its realms of Bollywood acquiring the most promising projects of this year. Starting off with Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Don-2’, it continued to buy the rights of Salman Khan’s ‘Bodyguard’ remake of Tamil movie ‘Kaavalan’. The list doesn’t end there as the rights of Aamir Khan’s untitled crime-thriller are taken up by the same banner.

The latest news is that Reliance Entertainment has picked up Silambarasan’s ‘Osthi’. The shooting is proceeding fast towards completion that is expected to wrap up by next couple of days.

Starring Silambarasan, Richa and Jithan Ramesh in lead roles, the film is a remake of famous Hindi blockbuster movie ‘Dabanng’

Osthi Is Done

Young superstar Silambarasan is leaving no stones unturned about his career now. The actor is simultaneously working in various projects that include ‘Poda Podi’, ‘Vettai Mannan’ and ‘Osthi’. While ‘Poda Podi’ is close on the heels of completing the post production works, the first schedule of ‘Vettai Mannan’ was wrapped up before couple of months.

Off the late, the actor became busy shooting for ‘Osthi’ day and night in Mysore as the producers had planned of finishing the talkie portions by first week of August. Director Dharani is always known for keeping up his punctuality while shooting for his projects. ‘Osthi’ isn’t an exception as the talkie portion will be completed in Mysore on day after tomorrow.

Silambarasan has been prone to homesick missing Chennai and is excited on getting back by this weekend.

Shriya Saran seems to have become a darling of gossipmongers. Be it on her starry airs at an audio launch function or recent rumour on her link up with Bollywood actor Salman Khan, she continues to be in the news, which the actress herself is not aware of. The latest rumour on the 28-year-old is that she will be doing the Tamil version of 'Munni badnaam...' in Silambarasan's Osthi. However, she has denied those reports as well!

The actress says that through media she came to know about the item number. Silambarasan has not approached her for the special number in upcoming Tamil movie Osthi and there is not truth in it, claims Shreya Saran. There were reports that Shreya Saran was offered to do a similar item number like Mallaika Arora Khan's 'Munni Badnaam Hui...' in Dabangg. It may be recalled that prior to Shreya, it was speculated that Simbu had approached Nayantara for the same. But the actor had refused those reports.

However, the 26-year-old is gearing up for her next Tamil release Rowthiram. Shreya Saran has pinned high hopes on the upcoming film and believes that the movie will become a landmark film in her career. She has paired Jeeva in the movie, which is hitting the screens this Friday.
