Suriya’s ‘Singam 2’ to start
Shoot in…?

After the success of A R
Murugadoss’ ‘7aam Arivu’, Suriya
is currently doing his ‘Maatran’
with director K V Anand. While
everyone is speculating what
Suriya would be doing after ‘Maatran’ director Hari has made
his announcement confirming it
was his film that Suriya is all set
to do!
Yes, it is confirmed that Suriya’s
next is ‘Singam 2’ and the female lead is again the south belle
Anushka, who had paired Suriya
in the super hit ‘Singam’. “Yes,
I’m starting ‘Singam 2’ in March
this year when Suriya completes
his current project. Anushka is pairing Suriya again. And, a
surprise addition is Santhanam,
who will be doing a film with me
for the first time. We will have
our schedules in Chennai, other
places in Tamil Nadu and also in some countries in Africa,” says
director Hari.
It is also confirmed Devi Sri
Prasad is been roped in for
doing the music of the film. More
on this film will be announced after Pongal, sources close to
Hari say.

Surya’s Singam 2 starts from
March

Denying reports that Surya’s next with director Hari has been shelved, sources say the duw will start
shooting from the end of March for this action film. After the success of Singam, Surya will pair up with Anushka again in this flick. Comedian Santhanam is
working in the movie. While some portions will be shot in India, the director has planned to shoot a part of the film in Nigeria and Kenya in Africa. Devi Sri Prasad has
been signed on as the music director.

Hansika in 'Singam 2'?

Hansika Motwani has made yet another prize catch. The actress has been roped in to play one of the heroines in a sequel to 'Singam'. The second part, which again will be directed by Hari, will have the same Suriya and Anushka in the lead.
"Apart from Anushka, the script demanded another leading lady and Hari zeroed in on Hansika for the task. The young actress is happy to share the screen space with Suriya and she has a meaty role to play," say sources close to the development.
Hansika, who started her acting career when she was a child, made her debut in Kollywood as heroine last year. She was part of three big projects- 'Velayudham' opposite Vijay, 'Mappillai' with Dhanush and 'Engeyum Kadhal' opposite Jayam Ravi.
At present, she is acting in 'Oru Kal Oru Kannadi', the maiden acting venture of producer Udhayanidhi Stalin, and 'Vettai Mannan', which has Simbu and Jai in lead roles.

Suriya to roar once again with Singam 2

Suriya is once again going to play the daredevil cop Dorai Singam in Singam 2, Hari directed sequel to his popular Singam(2010).

It is going to be Suriya’s first sequel and the fourth time he is pairing up with director Hari.

The shoot of Singam 2 will start in June once Suriya completes his KV Anand starrer Matraan.

There are two heroines in Singam 2, Anushka and Hansika along with Vivekh, Vijayakumar, Radha Ravi, Nassar who were part of the original.

In addition Rahman will play an important role in the film along with a few others. It will have music by Devi Sri Prasad and camera by Priyan. The film will be shot in Chennai, Hyderabad,Thuthukudi, Tirunelveli, Karaikudi and songs and fight scenes in Kenya and South Africa.

Singam 2 is going to be an even bigger action packed police story with the right amount of emotions. It will be produced by Laxman C for Prince Pictures
