Paapi Appacha : Review
Status: Calicut Apsara, 11.15 am, balcony full (228 seats), FC: padam tudangi 10-15 kazhinjappo oru 80-85% ethi ninnu...
Story: Nirappel Mathayi and Nirappel Paapi, ithirikandam gramam bharikunna pramaanimar... The have a school, cinema theatre, hospital, teepetti factory angane... Pakshe ellarum karuthunna pole pootha panakkar alla ivar, ella businessum rolling aanu. Paisak tight varumbo teepetti factoryku teeyitt insurance adichu maatuka tudangiya kalaaparipadikalum und.. Schoolile teacher aanu Aani(Kavya). Paapi is in madly in love with Aani, which is not reciprocated..Ennum Aani schoolil pokumbo Paapi roadil kani kaanam kathu nikkum... Angane Mathayi makanaya Paapiye avide panchayath electionu nirthan teerumanikunnu.. Chila prateka situations moolam Aaani becomes the opponent.. Oru just avg tudakathinu shesham padam onnu pick aavunnath ivide aanu.. Election pracharanam, results, post results okke nalla humorous aanu.. Electionil Aani jayikkum. Aaniye sahayikkan varunna aalanu Sasankan(Ashokan) bcz of his enemity with Nirapel family... Athinde idak Nirapel market pidichadakkan varunna aalayi Maanikunju(Suresh Krishna) Aanik varunna oru kalyana alochana Paapi mudakunnu, athinde peril Mathayi and Paapi tammil tettunnu.... Paapiye appachan veetil ninnu purathakunnu... Interval!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ivar tammil ulla porattam aanu pinne katha... ================================================== ====== The first half was quite promising though it is a story that has been told umpteen times. Ellarudem kannilunni aaya nayakan, Tettidharana, ottapedal,. Last nayakan agnisudhi varuthi tirichu varunnu... Suraj, Harisree, Salimkumar enne kandu madutha side kicksine ozhivakki puthiya oruthane try cheythu vijayipichathinu Mammasinu aadyathe salute  The bond b/w the father and son has been told pretty well, and Kavya did shine in couple of scenes before the interval... All together it was a good mix of things.... The scene was set for Dileep and Innochan to rock with their enemity now.. But have to they the script disappointed from then on.... Infact they tried too many things in the second half.. And a comical song with Dileep, Innocent and party in pirates of carrebian/cowbody etc costumes totally spoiled the mood... The movie draws to a climax with a "twist" that is so easily predictable!!!!!! ================================================== =========== Performances: Everybody was good.. Dileep rocked in couple of scenes which are his forte, and action sequences, though with the great indian rope trick,wasnt bad Innochan was also good, and Dileeps sidekick too.... Script and Direction: Nothing extra ordinary, not somebody who promises a lot... Songs: VS dissapointed.. Dileep-Kavya duet song padathil illa.... Verdict: I liked it far better than IGHI Rating: 3/5 PS: Ithil enikk ettavum ishtapettath opening credits aanu.. Englishil they show Singers; athu sidil Malayalathil "Tholla keeriyavar" Stills -== Photom pidutham Producer == Muthalali It was hilarious..!!!!!!
