Shyamaprasad's Ritu releasingon July 24
Baiju NT [June 11, 2009, 11:55:24 AM] Innostorm Entertainment Group, producer of renowned director Shyamaprasad's upcoming film Ritu, has informed that the post production works of the film are progressing at a brisk pace after completing its entire shooting on March 28. The shooting began on March 2. Ritu is scheduled to grace screens on July 24. Aravind of Innostorm Entertainment Group said that Ritu is a tale of friendship that blooms in the changing social and emotional landscape of a small South Indian town. The cast consists of all new faces. He denied earlier media reports that Ritu stars Prithviraj in the lead. It is learnt that the makers initially approached Prithviraj for the lead role, but later took newcomers. Ritu is Shyamaprasad's sixth movie. His earlier films are Kallu Kondoru Pennu (1998), Agnisakshi (1999), Bokshu the Myth (2002), Akale (2004) and Ore Kadal (2007). Agnisakshi and Akale, considered among the best regional films from 1998 to 2004. Joshua Newtonn is the writer of story for this new Shyama Prasad Movie
JoshCafe is produced by Joshua Newtonn (below), a writer of tales and an international award-winning writer based in the southern Indian port-town, Kochi.  His non-fiction and journalism have appeared in over 60 publications around the world. He’s the winner of 2005 Evangelical Press Association award (second) for the feature story on Gladys Staines ( ‘She Chose to Forgive’ ) published in Charisma & Christian Life, USA. A year before he won the Luis Valtuena VII International Humanitarian Photography Award (Special Prize) from Medicos Del Mundo in Spain. Joshua is the first Asian to win these honours.He also wrote, shot, and directed Beyond, a 27-minute digital film in which his friends and neighbours were coaxed to act. National award- winning filmmaker Shyamaprasad after watching Beyond, invited Joshua to write an original screenplay for him.
