Daddy Cool - My Review - Time Pass
Theatre : Concorde (Sharjah)
Time & Date : 4:30 PM, 22nd Aug 2009 Attendance : Balcony - 80%, don't know about orchestra status... Saw Daddy Cool... Time pass movie... Padam thudangathu thanne njan nattil 3 yrs padicha school, "Gregorian Public School" kanichond, sherikkum oru nostalgia thonni athu kandappo thanne....  Coming to the review, of late, Mammootty's better movie after all those horrendous craps ! Mammootty de mumbirangiya padangalude quality um, ee padam kaanan poyappo olla low expectations ellam koode aayappo ithoru time pass entertainer aayi thonni, eventhough its flawed ! Coming to the positives, Mammootty was looking too stylish... Dhananjay was OK, nothing to rave about as he went overboard many times... Technical department was just outstanding with brilliant cinematography n good editing.. Title cards, final song nte making were too impressive... BGM was cool... Interview scenes were really rib-tickling  Few dialogues by Bipin Chandran were good, some were clichéd too...Aashiq Abu's direction n screenplay has many flaws, still the racy narration made up for it to a very large extent...On the downside, orikkal koodi Mammootty enna star ne mathram kandu thripthippedendi vannu, adhikam onnum cheyyanillatha oru cake walk role... Richa Pallod looks good but acting was terrible which was maximised with awful dubbing too ! Too predictable everywhere... ... 2nd half towards the climax could have been bettered... Daniel Balaji the villian, Vettaiyaadu Vilayadu il yevan nannayi perform cheythathu Gautham Menon nte kazhivaanennu orikkal koodi theliyikkunnu, total garbage ! Verdict : Time Pass...See with low expectations... Rating - 7/10
