The Autumn Lady
Here lives a lovely lady
Beautiful, strong and
With Graceful manners.
When the sun was near and dear
She was charming even in tears
Hoping for more lovable care
Oh! she was greener than ever
The sun is anymore near and dear
She has to fight the winter so dire
Alone with her inner strength
That, she never knew exists inside.
Vital sacrifice she then makes
Giving up happy greeny leaves
With no tears, with no fears
But a graceful display of colours
Wine has matured inside the cellar
Giving up childish sweety savour
Brings out earthiness, sparkling spirit
from the inside, her true self.
Only wiser men can kiss
Sparkling lips of her again
Only those who understands
Value of sacrifice so unselfish
Here lives the Autumn Lady
Beautiful, strong and
With graceful manners.
