ente chila nireekshanangal, opinions...
oru vijay fan aaya njaan ithuvare sura kaanaan poyittilla, kaaranam padam kanditt ividathe katta vijay fansnte pallu vili thanne...appo dhe pokkiriraja vannu enna news...sheri, oru malayalam padam theateril kanditt kurachu kaalamaayi weekend alle, athinu povaamennum paranju njaanum mr. cinebuffum kudumbasametham cbe carnaticilekk...
padam thudangi, aa pillere vechu kaanichadhu sathyamaayittum onnum pidikittiyilla, pazhaya tamizh/hindi padam style oru 15-20 mts, udane dhe titles ittu thudangi, backgroundil jassieyude paattu "ivan pokkiriraja, aangilathil mannan, tamizhil vallavan, mother tongue malayalam" ennadhaanu paattile varikalude dhwani..ok Vaishakhante standard manassilaayi...
Sura aanu kaanunnath ennum vijaarichu njaan irunnu...but my dear prithvi, vijay cheyyunnath vijay cheydhaal nannaayirikkum...u please play roles in ur way, do not imitate others film after film...! i don't know what happens to this actor, coz when he acts in tamil, he does a gud job but in malayalam he seems to overdo things and looks all over the place! buffbhai paranjapole, oru cheriya ishtam thonnithudangunnadh illaathaakkaane immaathiri perfos upakarikkooo...big thumbs down!
Shreya, ingane oru actressne malayalathil konduvannitt u shud atleast let her have some screentime, atleast a couple of duets...aage undaayirunna oru nalla song, adhum cut cheydhirikkunnu!
suraj n salimkumar, to me, the only positives of the film...ivarude chila numbers maathramaayittulla oru cd, mr. jayakrishnan, kittumo mr. vaishakhinte aduthuninnu? kittumengil nannaayirunnu...just loved 'em, esply suraj....take a bow!
mr. mammootty, i have never seen him overperform/overact in any role but he hams it up to the hilt in this film...it was gud at places, but terrible to see him make a joke of himself in majority of the scenes...the exercise/aerobics, oh sorry, dance does not deserve words or sentences but just some gud adjectives which cannot be posted in a public forum...! and one more record for the star, the only actor to have used a dupe in a dance scene! hope u scale better heights of stupidity with ur upcoming attempts at dancing! rajini 80sle filmsil comedykkaayi use cheydha (in)appropriate use of english, adhe padi ennaal ottum elkkaatha vidhathil copy adichittundu indiayile ee mahaa nadan...some originality please!!!
Siddhique, supposed to be a police commisioner, at least Suraj openly parayunnu "njaan oru pedithondan mandan police aaanu" but this guy challenges Mammootty at every possible confrontation, but the very next scene is conveniently twisted to portray him as the real mandan police in this endeavor! pathetic writing at its best!

udayakrishna sibi thomas, one thought ur peak had been attained with EPB, but you beat it fair and square here...with two prominent actors at one's disposal, what one expected was at least a watchable film with some cinematic compromises but if from scene 1 to the end, ur intention is just making fun of audience's intelligence and shoving those 3rd rate dialogues down one's throat, sorry guys, the only thing u deserve is a temporary boycott from malayalam cinema...recharge ur brains, that is if u have any, and come back and write something better...we'l be grateful! sample this: "idhu yudhamaaneda yuddham, between Indian Pokkiri Service and Indian Police Service...yes, it is IPS WAR!" idhoru comedy dialogue aayittanengil sahikkaam, to present it as a punch dialogue with the star in all his seriousness, with some heavyduty bgm, sorry just not on! the last time i heard such pathetic lines were from Captain Vijaykant's Narasimma! oru punch line polum swanthamaayi ezhuthaan ariyaatha writers, they had to go back and lift rajini's punch dialogues, that too from the 80s and lift scenes from Thiruppaachi (great film to lift a scene from!), kashtam! yes, am skipping CB, no not even for lalettan am tempted to watch it coz he has also been treading the path of substandard cinema of late...!
to mr. jayakrishnan, i know ur friend Vaisakh might have spend a lot of money and time watching Vijay, Rajini movies but his execution of a mass tamil film in malayalam does evoke comparison only to one mr. perarasu of tamil cinema...this is the best civilized way i can pass an honest comment on ur friend's aspiration of making cinema...the masterstroke was prithvi telling siddhique "ente ettan idikkunna idi ninakonnum realtimeil kaanaan pattilla, athrakku fast aanu...nee rewind cheydhu nokkikke" and then siddhique shakes his head, and the scene goes back a la FIR, and lo the scene is presented in real motion...! amateurish is not the word to use here for such gimmicks!
i rate 1/5, and that 1 is for cinebuff's vodka full bottle that was the only worthwhile result of the 3-hour leisure time we had on a sunday...and my wife was lamenting "u had atleast that as a positive!"
i don't know on what basis mr. cinebuff who slept off halfway into the first half gave the film 2...he missed the only entertaining portions in the film! Ambiliye aadhyamaayi kaanendi vannathu ingane oru situationil aanennathu khedhakaram... i think she was the one who suffered most, coming alone to such a film and watching it entirely all alone...u better go and watch Sura, atleast u know what to expect and will be ready!
