തന്റെ ആദ്യ സംവിധായക സംരഭമായ അനാർക്കലിക്ക് ശേഷം തിരക്കഥാകൃത്തു കൂടിയായ സച്ചി direct ചെയ്യുന്ന ചിത്രം സംവിധായകൻ രഞ്ജിത്ത് ആണ് പ്രൊഡ്യൂസ് ചെയ്യുന്നത്.
അയ്യപ്പൻ നായർ എന്ന അട്ടപ്പാടിയിലെ remote village ഏരിയയിൽ പോസ്റ്റ്* ചെയ്യപ്പെട്ട പോലിസ്* കോൺസ്റ്റബ്ൾ കഥാപാത്രത്തെയാണ് ബിജു മേനോൻ അവതരിപ്പിക്കുന്നത്.
മിലിട്ടറിയിൽ നിന്നും 17വർഷത്തെ സർവീസ് നു ശേഷം റിട്ടയേർഡ് ആയ ഹവിൽദാർ കോശി കുര്യൻ എന്ന character ആണ് പ്രിത്വിയുടെത്.
അയ്യപ്പൻ, കോശി എന്നീ വ്യക്തികൾക്കിടയിലെ ego clash ഉം ഒരു പ്രേത്യക സാഹചര്യം out of control ആയി തീരുന്നതുമായ കാര്യങ്ങളെ ചുറ്റി പറ്റിയാണ് കഥ. ഒരു incident ഇൽ നിന്നും മറ്റൊന്നിലേക്കു സ്ക്രിപ്റ്റ് മുന്നോട്ടു പോകുന്നതിനാൽ, അനാർക്കലിയെക്കാൾ fast pace ഇൽ ഉള്ള അവതരണം ആയിരിക്കും ഈ സിനിമ എന്ന് സച്ചി പറയുന്നു.

Biju Menon: I have high regard for Prithviraj


Biju Menon and Prithviraj are all set to team up again for Sachy’s upcoming directorial titled Ayyappanum Koshyum. The trio had earlier teamed up for Anarkali.

On the movie, Biju Menon tells us, “I play a cop who has just about a few months left to retire. Prithviraj plays a retired military officer in the movie.”

On working with Prithviraj again, the actor says, “He is someone I regard highly because he reads a lot and watches a lot of films. He is clear about what he does and has strong opinions about everything. Even while working with him, he is very vocal and it’s great to have that equation with your co-stars. He is someone who has in depth knowledge about everything and that is evident from his directorial Lucifer. He has learnt about every aspect of filmmaking and then helmed the film; not just for the sake of directing one.”
