There has been so much 3D overkill from Hollywood in the last decade that its difficult to remember how each movie felt. In fact, I can't really remember whether I watched Everest in 3D. The Walk was great on screen, only in the last act, the rest of the movie was held together by a solid screenplay and good actors. But, the charm of 3D has been lost by almost all big Hollywood movies being shot in 2D and converted to 3D with an eye on the extra revenue. Indian cinema has thankfully not adopted that, and hopefully Barozz and Aadujeevitham will make good use of the 3D effect!
I generally skip 3D for normal action movies. I wear specs and it is not comfortable sometimes. I prefer 3D only for movies hyped for special effects like Avatar.
offtopic: Avatar VR ride I tried in Disney, one of the best things I experienced in life. If anyone have opportunity to go to Disney don't skip this.
