We’ve all watched and marvelled at how beautifully Breaking Bad came to an end. Here's what makes Felina a truly great series finale.

Felina was both a deeply satisfying as well as a surprisingly emotional episode. It was also extremely tidy, tying up all loose ends and leaving almost no question unanswered.

We get to see a very calm and casual Walt breaking into Elliot and Gretchen’s house, and making sure his hard earned money reaches his family. We get to see the two best hitmen west of the Mississippi in action. We get to see Walt’s dramatic reveal from behind the pillar, bidding his final goodbye to his family.

We get to peek inside Jesse’s head, his happy place, gently chipping away at wood to make his beautiful box. We get to see Walt use badass science and gadgetry to get rid of his enemies in true Heisenberg style. We get to see Walt finally freeing Jesse and we all shed a tear or two during the last nod that they share together. And most importantly, we see Jesse finally getting his redemption and driving away into the sunset in Todd’s El Camino.

We get to see Walt on the phone with Lydia, rubbing it in, letting her know that she’s dying. And we get to see that final shot, that beautiful wide angle shot of Walter on the ground dying, surrounded by the very thing that he enjoyed doing the most, the one that made him feel alive, it’s just.... not to sound cliché but... poetic cinema.

Everything felt complete. It was an ending that the fans deserved. An ending that Walt truly deserved. A happy ending. A truly great ending.

Netflix is rolling out a new update globally today
Last year, much to displeasure of the content creators around the globe, Netflix started testing out a feature that will allow users to decrease and increase the speed of the content they’re streaming on Netflix. Now this feature will be rolled out to the masses.

Netflix will let the viewers choose the speed I which they’ll watch things starting today (August 1st). This rollout is expected to happen globally.

This new feature from Netflix will allow users to watch content at 0.5x or 0.75x speed, as well as at 1.25x and 1.5x speed. However the speeds have to be manually adjusted each time you start a new video, a move which Netflix believes will calm the creators.

"We've also been mindful of the concerns of some creators," a spokesperson from The Verge said. "It's why we have capped the range of playback speeds and require members to vary the speed each time they watch something new versus fixing their settings based on the last speed they used."

"The feature has been much requested by members for years," Netflix's VP of product innovation Keela Robison added. "Most important of all, our tests show that consumers value the flexibility it provides whether it's re-watching their favorite scene or slowing things down because they're watching with subtitles or have hearing difficulties."
