മലയാളികളെ ഈയടുത്ത കാലത്ത് ഏറെ ത്രസിപ്പിച്ച ചിത്രമാണ് അഞ്ചാം പാതിര. 2020 തുടക്കത്തിൽ വൻവിജയം നേടിയ മിഥുൻ മാനുവൽ–കുഞ്ചാക്കോ ബോബൻ ചിത്രം അഞ്ചാം പാതിര റിലീസായിട്ട് ഇന്ന് ഒരു വർഷം തികയുന്നു. ഇപ്പോഴിതാ ആരാധകരെ ഏറെ ആവേശത്തിലാക്കി ചിത്രത്തിന് രണ്ടാം ഭാഗം പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചിരിക്കുകയാണ്. ആറാം പാതിര എന്നാണ് ചിത്രത്തിന്റെ പേര്. ചിത്രത്തിന്റെ ഫസ്റ്റ് ലൂക്ക് പോസ്റ്റർ പങ്കുവച്ചിരിക്കുകയാണ് സംവിധായകൻ മിഥുൻ മാനുവൽ തോമസ്.

കുഞ്ചാക്കോ ബോബൻ തന്നെയാണ് ലീഡ് റോളിൽ എത്തുന്നതെന്ന് പോസ്റ്ററിൽ നിന്ന് വ്യക്തം. ചിത്രത്തിൽ അൻവർ ഹുസൈൻ എന്ന ക്രിമിനോളജിസ്റ്റിന്റെ വേഷത്തിലാണ് കുഞ്ചാക്കോ ബോബൻ എത്തിയത്. കുഞ്ചാക്കോ ബോബന് ഏറെ പ്രശംസ നേടിക്കൊടുത്ത കഥാപാത്രമാണിത്. മറ്റൊരു ഹിറ്റ് അണിയറയിൽ ഒരുങ്ങുന്നുവെന്ന വാര്*ത്ത മലയാള സിനിമാ പ്രേക്ഷകരെ ഹരം കൊള്ളിക്കുന്നതാണ്. ആഷിഖ് ഉസ്മാനാണ് നിർമാണം. ഛായാഗ്രഹണം ഷൈജു ഖാലിദ് നിർവഹിക്കും

During the one year celebration of the one and only theatrical hit movie of 202o, Anjaam Pathiraa, filmmaker has announced the title of it's sequel - Aaraam Pathiraa. The film will see actor Kunchacko Boban reprising his role as a consulting criminologist. His role, Anwar Hussain, in the movie had garnered a lot of attention.
Talking about Aaraam Pathira, Midhun says that it is a mystery thriller. "We are aiming a theatre release that too this year. The first draft of scripting has done and I am working on locking it," he says adding that the date for shoot and the rest are yet-to-decide.

Midhun makes it clear that the film will be totally different from Anjaam Pathiraa. "It is not a sequel but another investigation by Anwar Hussain, " he says.
Kunchacko Boban had earlier shared his excitement to be Anwar Hussain again. he said, “Our only apprehension was that we don’t lose the acceptance Anjaam Pathiraa received. It was our decision to reunite again only if we are confident that the next film could break the benchmark set by the earlier one. I think Midhun has utilised the lockdown time really well. The movie, set in a hill station, is totally different.”

Anjaam Pathiraa was noted for its strong technical team. "The camera will be by Shyju Khalid, music by Sushin Shyam and editing by Saiju Sreedharan," said Midhun. Ashiq Usman, who is bankrolling the project, divulges that the film is being planned as next year's Christmas release. "The shoot will begin in the second half of 2021," he said.
