This was rejected by LJ becoz he was asked to begin immediately which he couldn't since he committed to do Chandranudhikkunna Dhikkil with Dileep.

Movies are entirely Director's medium if he/ she are not interfered by external factors. Mohanlal okke completely directorinu vishwasikkunna kootathil aanu. Thulasidasinte College Kumaran experience evideyo vaaychu ninnu enikku athu urappichu parayaam.


Still Mohanlal could have smartly avoided some directors is something which I agree. Pakshe aarku eppol ethu samayathu enthu theliyum ariyillalo. Priyadarshan aanu example. Geethanjali samayathu Mohanlal fans verukkunna directorsinte listil undaaya aalu Markkaar samayathu mattoru image. Ranjith was also possessing similar image changes!!!

80s, 90s aanu avarude prime. Avar aa samayathu cheyytha cinemakal, kadhapaathrangal...ketta scripts and the directors....just look at the list and tell me how much challenging is for a director and writer to come up with a character and script that excites them. Its one of the toughest task if not the toughest.

Mohanlal opened Pranavam Arts and see the films he made during 90s. Aa level movies Malayalam Mohanlal shesham oru nadan cheyythattilla and that too during the era of only theaterical revenue.

Manichitrathaazhu muthal Sadayam muthal Kilukkam muthal Chenkol muthal Thoovanathumbikal etc cheyytha Mohanlal aanu. Ningal Mohanlalinte aduthu Kumbalangi Nights kondu vannaal, Sadayam cheyytha Mohanlaline ottum excite cheyyilla. It will excite Fahad Fazil. Becoz he has not done it.
