Three big releases this week!
This week there is going to be three big releases in Malayalam- On Thursday (July 23), Jayaram’s K.Madhu directed comedy caper Rahasiya Police, on Friday (July 24) Prithviraj’s campus action movie Puthiya Mugham along with director Rajasenan’s debut film as hero Bhariya Onnu Makkal Moonu.
The rains have subsided; the theatres are all full up with the new releases. All the three releases have heroes who are struggling to establish as saleable stars with an opening. Jayaram has made a fantastic comeback to the box-office with Veruthe oru Bharya and Bhagyadevatha, and now will Rahasiya Police take an opening? What is turning out to be embarrassing for Jayaram is that he is pitted against Rajasenan one time his regular hit director who is also debuting as hero! Prithviraj is after that elusive solo hit, with Puthiya Mugham after a series of flops. He was one time tipped to be the next superstar, but is a long way from it and needs a hit to salvage his position in the industry. The actor needs a hit otherwise the half a dozen movies in which he is playing hero will not have any takers.
