      Default Ford V Ferrari

A touching tribute to automobile racing, human will and endurance and above all,a friendship between 2 dreamers, Ford V Ferrari is a thrilling and emotional journey that deserves to be watched on an IMAX screen.

While the racing sequences stand out ,with the aid of an adrenaline pumping score and sensational sound design,it is the drama behind it all that elevates the movie from your regular cookie cutter sports movie. Despite the a runtime of more than 2 and a half hours, the movie manages to keep you engaged, even if you're not a motorhead. This may be the first sports movie that actually depicts the realistic impact of capitalism on the men who actually do the groundwork.

Matt Damon utilities his affable screen presence to create a warm character and does some heavy lifting in the emotional scenes towards the climax. Bale manages to turn up the charm and delivers his best performance ever,a far shift from his intense roles.

Despite working in the automobile field,I don't care for cars or racing too much, but by the end,I gained some newfound appreciation for the men behind the wheel and for those who build these magnificent machines. And above all,I teared up several times during the movie. And I think you guys will too

      Rating:4.25/5(Excellent)
