Excellent review Aravind, Me also did the mistake of not watching it in the theater and watched it in Netflix a couple of days back.
I was actually born 3 years before this moment and as someone who started watching cricket seriously from the 1992 WC onward I can exactly feel what you went through in each of those instances you mentioned over the years. When I think of it now I kinda miss that cricket fanatic in me in the mid-end 90s who used to put alarm to wake up and watch test matches happening in NZ at 2.30 in the morning or stay awake till 2am in the morning to finish watching the matches in the Caribbean. As you said the gradual changes in the life with added responsibilities and commitments slowly put that insane passion for cricket on the back burner. But that spark always remains there and my couch becomes my best buddy whenever there is a great test match / LOI is going on.
All things said, I loved this movie and thank you Kabir Khan and Ranbir for taking us through this amazing journey.
