Captain Marvel was sandwiched between Infinity war and Endgame and based on the post credits of Infinity war CM invoked huge curiosity as the potential savior of the Avengers who were decimated by Thanos. Movie was also OK for me

This is easily watchable. It's just that they didn't make use of great opportunity.

I haven't watched the series also, the likes of WV, WI..? and FWS....That also affect watching DSMOM I believe...?
