Finally, there’s a great news about Thala’s 50th film that is progressing towards the production phase. The film’s title of being ‘Mangaatha – Ulle Veliyae’ has been confirmed and the shooting will kick-start by August.
So, who’s the heroine? It’s none other than the South Indian hottie Anushka Shetty. And guess what? South Indian super actor Nagarjuna will share the screen space with our stylish guru Thala. The film’s puja will be taking place in mid July and the shooting is set to take off in August.
Speaking to Ajithfans.com, Venkat Prabhu has spoken about the highlighting trait of this film saying that this will be completely different Thala’s past films and he has more jovial dialogues – Ellarayo Pottu Semma Kalaai Kalaaipaaru. Hahahha! That’s something really interesting, isn’t? and its a pacca commercial script with action and comedy.
The film is believed to be made simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu.

Thala and Venkat Prabhu Join hands for 50th Film | Ajithfans - Actor Ajith Kumar E-Fans Association

As we said days back finally, the deal is on and we have the official news about Thala’s 50th film. Now as Ajith Kumar has quit the racing, he will soon kick-start the shooting for his 50th film and Venkat Prabhu will be the director. The film is produced by Dayanidhi Azhagiri of Cloud Nine Productions and is soon getting launched by middle of July. The shooting will take on from August and it will be a VENKAT PRABHU team.
The film’s music will be done by Yuvan Shankar Raja and camera work by Sakthi Saravanan.
The film is tentatively titled as ‘Mangaatha’ (2 more titles are in consideration too) and will be an action-comedy script. Talks are going on with big star-casts to be a part of this film and Nagarjuna is also said to be included in the project. Last week, Venkat Prabhu was present in Hyderabad holding discussions with the actor. The hunt on heroine is fast on pace and will be confirmed shortly…
Everything goes well and things will be gonna be very fantastic.

Whether ASAL is hit or not or average, the film deserves to flop. Bad movie and Ajit should wake up. Its high time. He should concentrate on the film. Otherwise, only fans can resurrect him not neutral audience. Failure of these kind of movies will only push him to work with better directors and stories. That's one good thing that should happen quickly

NO.. Lal is not in this movie. That was only a rumour. Even Nagarjuna's involvement in the movie is a big question. Movie launch will happen within this month. We will know everything.
