The British coach is set to be the assistant coach for the Kochi franchisee in the ISL
Trevor Morgan has agreed to be the assistant manager of Kerala Blasters in the inaugural edition of the Indian Super League (ISL).
The former East Bengal manager was in the fray to be the next coach of Kenya’s AFC Leopards.
However, the deal fell through as the former Bolton Wanderers player was available only until the second leg of the Kenyan Premier League, as Goal had exclusively revealed in May this year.
Morgan was on the desired list to be the assistant manager by a couple of ISL franchisees and in the end, chose to join Kerala Blasters, which is owned by he legendary Sachin Tendulkar and PVP Ventures. It must be noted that Morgan was also assigned to conduct the pre-season training for 40 IMG-Reliance players last season in Mumbai.
He was present for the ‘Club Sequence Selection’ representing the Kerala Blasters on Monday.
